In my years as a sales professional, I noticed a trend of athletes performing exceptionally well in the business world. As a coach/business leader, you want someone with a competitive drive for success to be a part of your team. It’s quality that is considered to be un-coachable on the field or in the workplace. We understand that it’s not always easy for job seekers to connect with employers. Our team at Athletes Go Pro strives to open doors for well-rounded athlete candidates because we feel they are one step ahead of the competition.

Coaches give guidance to athletes during their collegiate careers, but who gives them guidance during their professional careers? That’s why we started Athletes Go Pro. Employers are looking to find battle tested athletes, and athletes are looking for those hiring companies – We connect the dots. As fellow former athletes we can relate to our candidates and connect on a personal level. I believe that athletes possess the intangibles that give them a competitive edge in the workplace. Athletes Go Pro is on a mission to connect athletes with opportunity!

After years of honing my craft as an athlete at the University of Vermont, I was conflicted with the question “What’s next?” I did not have much guidance in my search for my professional career. I decided to move down to Baltimore and pursue my graduate studies in Industrial/Organizational psychology. As an I/O student, I studied the science and psychology behind staffing, recruiting, and professional development. Upon graduation, I combined my two passions and joined the Athletes Go Pro Team. At AGP, I combine developing a team of recruiters in their professional careers as well as introducing former athletes to their next career opportunities!

Athletics have been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember. Upon graduating this spring I realized that I wouldn’t be spending my summers working out with teammates anymore, and it was time to find a job. I had no idea what I wanted to do professionally until I found Athletes Go Pro. Athletes may not have the resumes’ or the internships comparable to some candidates, but what you can’t measure on a piece of paper is character and work ethic. Athletes possess a wide variety of traits that are attained through the rigorous daily schedule of a being student athlete. You cannot be a successful student or a successful athlete if you are unable to manage your time and work alongside other people. Athletes make great employees and I’m excited to be in the position to help connect them with new career opportunities.

  • NEC Academic Honor Roll
  • School Record Holder for most face-off win in one game
  • 2016 Most Improved Player Award
  • 2016 “Unsung Hero” Award

Upon graduating from the Mount with a degree in communications, I returned in the fall to pursue my Master’s in Business Administration, as well as use my final year of eligibility as a student-athlete. Over this time, I realized that being a college athlete prepared me not only to excel athletically, but professionally as well. We believe student-athletes are hard-wired for success, and at Athletes Go Pro, we connect employers with athletes who are able to elevate their game both on and off the field.
